CeeVi is a web-based resume builder made by Cedaret in Ghana. It helps job seekers turn rough experience notes or an existing CV into a clean, single-column resume that applicant tracking systems can read without losing fields.
Why we built it
Most resume tools fail in one of two ways. Either they let you spend an hour formatting a template and then ask for a monthly subscription when you click download, or they use AI to pad your work history with invented percentages and buzzwords you cannot defend in an interview.
CeeVi was built to do the opposite. The editor, the live scoring, and PDF and Word exports are free for everyone. When you use the AI to tighten a bullet point or draft a summary, it works strictly with the facts on your page — if a bullet needs a number to be convincing, it asks you for the figure rather than making one up.
How the product works
- Live scoring in your browser. Seven checks run as you type — covering contact details, summary length, action verbs, quantified outcomes, bullet length, date consistency, and skills focus. Every point lost comes with the specific fix.
- Honest AI rewrites. You can ask the AI to sharpen weak phrasing, draft a summary from your experience, or import an existing PDF or Word CV into the editor fields. Nothing is added that was not in your original text.
- Job matching. Paste a job description to see which requirements your resume already evidences, which are missing, and which bullets can be reworded using your existing experience to close the gap.
- Real PDF and Word files. Downloads are generated from structured text — selectable type, standard headings, no multi-column tables or text boxes that trip up employer parsing software.
Privacy by default
Your resume lives in your browser’s local storage rather than in a central database on our servers. We do not keep copies of the resumes people write, and we do not sell user data or run advertising trackers on the site. You can read the full details on our Privacy page.
How we charge
The Free plan (₵0) includes unlimited resumes, live scoring, PDF and Word export, and 5 AI reviews a day.
For people applying actively who want unlimited AI reviews and job description matching, Premium costs ₵50 for 30 days. It is a one-off payment processed securely through Paystack (card or mobile money) and never renews automatically. If you buy Premium and have not used a Premium feature within 7 days, you can ask for a full refund — see our Terms for the exact rules.
